Terms of Service
Effective date: October 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the TOBIRA website, library, articles and reports, accounts, and related features provided by TOBIRA STUDIO (sole proprietors: Kensei Yasue and Kotaro Okada).
Please also read our Privacy Policy for information about how we handle personal information.
1. Operators and Service
- TOBIRA is a design library operated by TOBIRA STUDIO (sole proprietors: Kensei Yasue and Kotaro Okada), referred to below as “we,” “us,” or “our.”
- We collect outstanding websites and web applications from Japan and around the world so that users can study their screens, motion, and code for individual sections and components. We also provide TOBIRA components, articles, and reports that we create (collectively, the “Service”).
2. Agreement
- By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
- Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or other legal guardian before using the Service.
- If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you must have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Restrictions on Use
- You must not:
- Redistribute, sell, rent, publish, or sublicense all or a substantial part of the code, images, articles, or reports provided through the Service.
- Use the Service to create a competing library, dataset, search service, or AI training data.
- Circumvent access restrictions or code-unlock limits, or share an account.
- Collect information beyond ordinary use through automated scraping, robots, or other means.
- Reverse engineer or tamper with the Service, or interfere with its operation or other users’ use of it.
- Violate laws, public order or morality, or the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
4. Accounts and Plans
4.1. Accounts
- You may register using an email address and password or a Google account. Keep your registration information accurate and up to date.
- You are responsible for your login credentials. Do not share, lend, or transfer them to a third party. Plans other than Enterprise may be used only by the individual subscriber.
- If you become aware of unauthorized use, promptly contact info@tobira.studio.
4.2. Plans
- The Service offers a free Free plan and paid Standard, Premium, Premium Plus, and Enterprise plans. Available features, code-unlock limits, and prices are shown on the pricing page. Enterprise terms are set out in a separate agreement.
- Paid-plan enrollment is being prepared. Final terms will be shown on the pricing page when enrollment opens.
4.3. Code-Unlock Limits
- Code for works and components is displayed by selecting “Unlock code.” Daily limits reset at midnight Japan Standard Time, and monthly limits reset according to the subscription renewal cycle. Unused unlocks do not roll over.
- To maintain service stability, we may restrict activity beyond ordinary use, such as unlocking a large amount of code in a short period.
5. Payment
- Paid plans are billed every three months or annually. You pay in advance for the selected period.
- All displayed prices include tax.
- Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store card information on our servers.
6. Automatic Renewal
- Unless canceled, paid plans renew automatically for the same period. On the renewal date, the payment method on file is charged for the next period. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to these recurring charges.
7. Refunds
- Except where required by law, fees already paid are nonrefundable, including on a prorated basis. If there are individual circumstances, such as a prolonged inability to use the Service due to an issue on our side, please contact info@tobira.studio.
8. Cancellation
- You may cancel through your account settings before the next renewal date. After cancellation, paid-plan features remain available until the end of the period already paid for. Your account then returns to Free.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1. Our Rights
- Rights in the Service’s structure, text, TOBIRA components, articles, reports, logos, and design belong to us or the relevant rights holders. No rights are granted to users except those expressly stated in these Terms.
9.2. What You May Use
- Users with a valid plan may incorporate TOBIRA components created by us into websites, applications, or other works for themselves or their clients, for personal or commercial use. This license is nonexclusive and does not transfer copyright in the components.
9.3. Rights in Featured Works
- Rights in the screens, motion, structure, code, trademarks, and other elements of third-party websites and web applications featured in the Service belong to their respective rights holders. Inclusion does not indicate a partnership, endorsement, or official relationship between us and those rights holders.
- Components and code extracted from actual sites are provided as reference material for studying structure and motion. If you use designs or code obtained from third-party works in your own work, you are responsible for ensuring that you do not infringe the rights of the rights holders.
9.4. Requests to Remove a Listing
- Rights holders who wish to have their work removed or its listing discontinued should contact info@tobira.studio, identifying the relevant page and providing information showing their ownership of the rights. We will review the request and respond promptly. See our Copyright page for details.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- We do not warrant that the Service or code obtained through it is suitable for a particular purpose, accurate, uninterrupted, or free of defects. You use it at your own discretion and responsibility.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for damages is limited to the amount you actually paid us during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the damages. This limitation does not apply to our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Links to External Sites
- The Service includes links to external sites, such as the original sources of featured works. We are not responsible for the content or security of external sites. Use them in accordance with their respective terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
- We may change these Terms when reasonably necessary, including in response to changes in law or the Service. We will announce material changes through the Service or by notice to your registered email address and specify their effective date. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.
13. Changes, Suspension, or Termination of the Service
- We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue aspects of the Service to improve quality, comply with law, ensure security, or meet other operational needs. If users will be significantly affected, we will provide advance notice by reasonable means. Advance notice may not be possible in emergencies, such as urgent security responses.
- We do not guarantee the number of works listed, the frequency of updates, or the continued availability of any particular work.
14. Suspension of Use
- If you materially violate these Terms, or fraudulent payments or unauthorized access are confirmed, we may suspend your account or terminate your agreement without prior notice. To the extent permitted by law, no refund will be provided in these cases.
15. Severability
- If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive agreed jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes concerning the Service or these Terms.
17. Contact
- For questions about these Terms, contact info@tobira.studio.
MCP connector
You may authorize compatible AI clients with OAuth or an API key. The connector uses your website plan and shared allowance; it does not grant additional content rights or an extra allowance. New opens also follow the budget for that connection. You can raise or disable the budget and revoke connections in Security settings. Revoking a connection stops future access; it does not recall files already delivered to your chosen client. Source and license records remain attached to downloads. Setup instructions.
